While Ferrari are often criticized for their strategy decisions, Charles Leclerc does not plan to object to them, in or out of the car.

When asked on the Beyond The Grid podcast whether he felt the need to have more control over such decisions, Leclerc said he believed his current approach was the right one.

"I'm very clear about what I want in the team and I think it's the right approach," said the Monaco driver.

"So I'm not going to change it, I'm not going to speak out any more outside the car, I don't really care what people think."

"What I care about is that I feel good and that I do my best to improve things within the team."

Leclerc believes that a collaborative approach with the team is the best way forward.

"I don't think being more vocal or taking more decisions into my hands when I get in the car is the way forward."

"Because people don't realize how little information we have about what happens during the race."

"We will be the best together as a team in terms of strategy and then we will win the World Championship."

"We can't be World Champions if I make the decisions alone in the car, that's not how it works. I'm convinced of that, so I'm going to keep that approach."
